Our standard Class F is collected dry from electrostatic precipitator hoppers at bituminous-coal fired units, stored in dedicated silos and homogenised before dispatch so that lot-to-lot variation stays inside a narrow band.
At 15 to 30 percent cement replacement it improves workability, reduces water demand, lowers the heat of hydration in mass pours and sharply improves resistance to sulphate and chloride attack. Early strength develops more slowly than plain OPC, which is why we recommend confirming your 7-day requirement on a trial mix before finalising the replacement level.
